When experiencing water damage and countless people at our home saying yes you have a problem and no we can't help. I was discouraged, and frustrated. Until Willard's arrived and took the time to look into the issues and identify teams that could help and how they could help. They have been there through the whole process. Anthony and Cassie are a great team and knowledgeable on what to expect regarding the process and insurance companies lingo. They have restored our home for sure! I highly recommend them for your needs. You are in good hands here and your home will thank you. Sincerely grateful.

Words cannot express how grateful I am to have found Willard's Restoration to help us urgently address flooding in our basement following recent heavy rains. I called numerous companies who either could not come to us for some time or were downright rude when I asked for at least a ballpark estimate for such services. Anthony and Cassie returned my calls promptly and offered to come out quickly. They helped me manage the situation with their own services and referrals. They were quite knowledgeable, professional, courteous, reliable. I have not needed this type of service before, but will not hesitate to call on them again and/or refer others to them who might need similar help. Thank you!!

We have used Willard's Restoration & Cleaning three times now, twice to test for moisture levels/make sure there was no growth in a couple places and once for water restoration following a major kitchen leak. Anthony did excellent work and helped us navigate the insurance claim following the leak so we had much less stress and worry. He diligently worked in our home until the moisture levels were back to normal which gave us such peace of mind. We couldn't be more satisfied with the work, the value, and the confidence in knowing our home has been well taken care of. We've given his business card to several friends and will continue to recommend Willard's to anyone!

As an insurance agent, I understand the importance of prompt and thorough water remediation. When I had a water loss at my home, I was quick to call Anthony because I trusted him fully to do a great job with my water leak. Anthony was on site quickly and went to work to help get our home back to normal as quickly as possible. Anthony worked directly with my insurance company so that I didn't have to spend my time on that side of things, even though I am the agent. He also worked with my contractor to coordinate the different pieces of the puzzle to get my home put back together as soon as possible. During the process, I became pretty sick and had to spend several days in bed. During that time, it was extremely reassuring to me to know that Anthony could come in and check things without me having to be up and present in the process. I also have a very curious and nosy cat and Anthony was careful to not let him out as he came in and out of my home and to make sure the area was sealed off well so that my cat could not get into the area where the drying fans were running. As an insurance agent, Anthony is who I recommend to my clients, even prior to using him myself, but having my own water loss solidified my decision that they are the only remediation company that I will recommend after having personally dealt with 2 other companies in my home who did not do the quality job that Anthony did for us. Thank you for helping make a bad situation as convenient and painless as possible!

Water damage can result from a variety of sources, including burst pipes, appliance leaks, roof damage, sewage backups, flooding, or storm damage. Even minor leaks can cause significant problems if left untreated.
Immediately. The longer water sits, the more damage it can cause, weakening structures, spreading mold, and increasing repair costs. Willard's Restoration is available 24/7 to respond quickly and start the drying process right away.
The timeline depends on the extent of the damage. Typical drying and dehumidification can take 2, 5 days, but larger restoration projects will take longer. After our inspection, we’ll give you a detailed timeline.
Yes, mold can begin growing within 24, 48 hours in damp conditions. That’s why it’s crucial to act fast and have professionals handle drying and remediation properly.
Yes. Willard's Restoration works directly with most insurance providers to simplify the claims process.
While not all water damage is preventable, regular maintenance, such as inspecting your roof, plumbing, and appliances, can greatly reduce your risk. Installing sump pumps, water alarms, and ensuring proper drainage also helps protect your property.
Visible water is only part of the problem. Moisture often seeps into walls, floors, and hidden spaces where it can cause structural issues and mold growth. We use advanced drying equipment, moisture meters, and proven restoration techniques to ensure your property is thoroughly dried and safe.
If you can safely access it, turn off the main water supply to stop the flow of water into your home. This is crucial in preventing further flooding and additional damage to your property. The main shut-off valve is usually located in the basement, crawl space, or near the water meter.
Water and electricity are a dangerous combination. If water has reached electrical outlets, appliances, or wiring, it's important to turn off the power to the affected areas. Locate your circuit breaker and switch off the power to prevent electrical shocks, fires, or further hazards.
If it’s safe to do so, move important items such as personal documents, electronics, artwork, and valuable furniture to a dry, elevated area. This helps minimize potential damage and makes it easier to focus on the restoration process when help arrives. Be careful when lifting heavy objects, and prioritize items that are most valuable or irreplaceable.
Refrain from walking through standing water, especially if it’s in contact with electrical outlets or appliances. Standing water may be contaminated with sewage or chemicals, posing health risks, and it may also hide hazards like sharp objects or unstable flooring. If you must enter, wear protective gear such as rubber boots and gloves.
Open windows and doors to allow fresh air to circulate, which helps reduce humidity and slow down the growth of mold and mildew. If you have fans, you can use them to increase airflow, but avoid using any electrical appliances if the area is still wet. Good ventilation can also help dissipate any unpleasant odors.
Before any cleanup begins, take photos and detailed notes of the damage. Documenting the extent of the water damage, including affected areas and damaged items, is crucial for insurance claims. Capture images of walls, floors, ceilings, and personal belongings, as well as any structural damage. Keep a record of the date and time of the damage and any actions you’ve taken. This information will be valuable when filing a claim with your insurance company and can help expedite the restoration process.
