As an insurance agent, I understand the importance of prompt and thorough water remediation. When I had a water loss at my home, I was quick to call Anthony because I trusted him fully to do a great job with my water leak. Anthony was on site quickly and went to work to help get our home back to normal as quickly as possible. Anthony worked directly with my insurance company so that I didn't have to spend my time on that side of things, even though I am the agent. He also worked with my contractor to coordinate the different pieces of the puzzle to get my home put back together as soon as possible. This helps minimize potential damage and makes it easier to focus on the restoration process when help arrives. Be careful when lifting heavy objects, and prioritize items that are most valuable or irreplaceable.
Avoid Standing Water
Refrain from walking through standing water, especially if it’s in contact with electrical outlets or appliances. Standing water may be contaminated with sewage or chemicals, posing health risks, and it may also hide hazards like sharp objects or unstable flooring. If you must enter, wear protective gear such as rubber boots and gloves.
Ventilate The Area
