When experiencing water damage and countless people at our home saying yes you have a problem and no we can't help. I was discouraged, and frustrated. Until Willard's arrived and took the time to look into the issues and identify teams that could help and how they could help. They have been there through the whole process. Anthony and Cassie are a great team and knowledgeable on what to expect regarding the process and insurance companies lingo. They have restored our home for sure! I highly recommend them for your needs. You are in good hands here and your home will thank you. Sincerely grateful.

Words cannot express how grateful I am to have found Willard's Restoration to help us urgently address flooding in our basement following recent heavy rains. I called numerous companies who either could not come to us for some time or were downright rude when I asked for at least a ballpark estimate for such services. Anthony and Cassie returned my calls promptly and offered to come out quickly. They helped me manage the situation with their own services and referrals. They were quite knowledgeable, professional, courteous, reliable. I have not needed this type of service before, but will not hesitate to call on them again and/or refer others to them who might need similar help. Thank you!!

We have used Willard's Restoration & Cleaning three times now, twice to test for moisture levels/make sure there was no growth in a couple places and once for water restoration following a major kitchen leak. Anthony did excellent work and helped us navigate the insurance claim following the leak so we had much less stress and worry. He diligently worked in our home until the moisture levels were back to normal which gave us such peace of mind. We couldn't be more satisfied with the work, the value, and the confidence in knowing our home has been well taken care of. We've given his business card to several friends and will continue to recommend Willard's to anyone!

As an insurance agent, I understand the importance of prompt and thorough water remediation. When I had a water loss at my home, I was quick to call Anthony because I trusted him fully to do a great job with my water leak. Anthony was on site quickly and went to work to help get our home back to normal as quickly as possible. Anthony worked directly with my insurance company so that I didn't have to spend my time on that side of things, even though I am the agent. He also worked with my contractor to coordinate the different pieces of the puzzle to get my home put back together as soon as possible. During the process, I became pretty sick and had to spend several days in bed. During that time, it was extremely reassuring to me to know that Anthony could come in and check things without me having to be up and present in the process. I also have a very curious and nosy cat and Anthony was careful to not let him out as he came in and out of my home and to make sure the area was sealed off well so that my cat could not get into the area where the drying fans were running. As an insurance agent, Anthony is who I recommend to my clients, even prior to using him myself, but having my own water loss solidified my decision that they are the only remediation company that I will recommend after having personally dealt with 2 other companies in my home who did not do the quality job that Anthony did for us. Thank you for helping make a bad situation as convenient and painless as possible!

Our process

Our Water Restoration Process

Liberty is a small Pickens County town between Easley and Central, with older mill-era homes close to downtown, newer subdivisions and plenty of rural properties around it. Crawl spaces are common, and older plumbing and winter freezes cause a large share of the water calls we get here. This is our process for emergency water damage in Liberty:

  1. 01

    Get the water out

Standing water is extracted from floors, carpet and the crawl space as soon as the crew arrives, starting with the areas where it is doing the most damage.

  2. 02

    Measure the spread

Thermal imaging and moisture meters show how far the water traveled under floors, behind baseboards and into walls, so nothing wet is left behind.

  3. 03

    Dry it properly

Air movers and dehumidifiers are set in the living space and the crawl space and adjusted as the structure dries.

  4. 04

    Track it daily

Every visit includes logged readings on framing, subfloor and drywall. The job is done when those numbers reach dry standard.

  5. 05

    Repair and document

We complete the repairs and send your insurance company photos, moisture logs and an itemized scope. Older homes are tested for lead before painted surfaces are disturbed.

All work for water damage restoration in Liberty follows IICRC S500 standards by IICRC-certified technicians.

Our process

Our Fire Restoration Process

Kitchen fires, space heaters and older electrical systems cause most of the house fires we see around Liberty, and in older homes the smoke rarely stays in one room. Our process for fire damage restoration in Liberty:

  1. 01

    Make it safe

We assess the structure, photograph every affected area and board up or tarp any openings.

  2. 02

    Dry out after firefighting

Water from the fire hoses is extracted and drying starts right away.

  3. 03

    Remove soot

Dry soot is lifted before any wet cleaning, and each surface gets the method it needs, from painted trim to cabinets to contents.

  4. 04

    Treat the odor

Odor is treated at the source with HEPA air scrubbing and thermal fogging or hydroxyl generation, so it does not come back in warm weather.

  5. 05

    Rebuild

Damaged framing, insulation, drywall and finishes are replaced. Lead paint in older homes is handled under EPA lead-safe practices before demolition.

All work for fire damage restoration in Liberty follows IICRC S700 standards by IICRC-certified technicians.

Our process

Our Mold Removal Process

In Liberty, mold usually follows a water problem that was never fully dried or a crawl space that stays damp through the summer. Our process for mold removal in Liberty:

  1. 01

    Inspection

We check the living space and the crawl space, find the growth and the moisture behind it, and explain what we found before any work starts.

  2. 02

    Containment

The work area is sealed under negative air pressure with HEPA filtration.

  3. 03

    Removal and treatment

Moldy porous materials are removed, and framing and other surfaces are cleaned and treated with EPA-registered antimicrobials.

  4. 04

    Verification

Treated areas are inspected and moisture readings confirmed before containment comes down.

  5. 05

    Prevention

We recommend the fixes that keep it from coming back, such as a vapor barrier, better drainage, a dehumidifier or a plumbing repair.

All work for mold remediation in Liberty follows IICRC S520 standards by IICRC-certified technicians.

Answers

Frequently asked questions

Do you serve Liberty and the nearby towns?

Yes. We serve Liberty, Easley, Central, Pickens and the surrounding parts of Pickens County, with 24/7 emergency response.

A pipe froze and burst under our house. What should we do first?

Shut off the water at the main valve, turn off power to any wet areas if it is safe, and call us. Water from a crawl space break often spreads under the floor before it shows inside, so the sooner it is extracted the better.

Our older home smells musty. Should we be worried about mold?

A musty smell usually means moisture and often mold, most commonly in the crawl space. We inspect, find the moisture source and tell you plainly what needs remediation.

Will lead paint slow down repairs in an older home?

Not if it is planned for. We test painted surfaces before demolition, and our EPA-certified team handles lead-safe containment and cleanup as part of the job.

Do you handle the repairs, or only the cleanup?

Both. One team handles mitigation and repairs, so you have one point of contact from start to finish.

Will you work with my insurance company?

Yes. We provide photos, moisture readings and an itemized scope and communicate with your adjuster throughout the claim.
