Photo Documentation
Before, during and after photos of every affected area, taken before materials are removed so the damage is on record.
Dealing with damage is stressful enough without trying to figure out the insurance process at the same time. We work directly with your insurance company, document everything your adjuster needs and explain each step in plain language.

Most water and fire claims follow the same basic path: stop the damage, document it, agree on a scope with the adjuster, then repair. Problems usually come from gaps in that path, such as damage that was not photographed before it was removed, moisture readings that were never recorded or a scope that misses hidden damage. Willard's Restoration documents every job from the first visit with photos, moisture maps, daily drying logs and an itemized scope, and we communicate with your adjuster throughout. You stay in control of your claim and your policy. Our job is to make sure the adjuster has a complete, accurate picture of the damage.
Before, during and after photos of every affected area, taken before materials are removed so the damage is on record.
Readings taken with meters and thermal imaging at the start and on every visit, showing how far water traveled and when the structure was dry.
A detailed, line-by-line scope of the mitigation and repair work so the adjuster can review and approve it.
Here is how a typical restoration claim works with Willard's Restoration:
Call us to start emergency service, and report the claim to your insurance company. You do not need to wait for the adjuster before we stop the damage.
We extract water, tarp or board up openings and begin drying. Most policies expect reasonable steps to prevent further damage, and this is that step.
Every affected area is photographed and measured, and moisture readings are logged from the first visit.
We share our documentation and scope with your adjuster and answer their questions. If they visit, we can meet them on site.
Once the scope is approved, we complete the repairs and walk the finished job with you.
We document every job to IICRC standards, so your claim has a complete record from day one.
As an insurance agent, I understand the importance of prompt and thorough water remediation. When I had a water loss at my home, I was quick to call Anthony because I trusted him fully to do a great job with my water leak. Anthony was on site quickly and went to work to help get our home back to normal as quickly as possible. Anthony worked directly with my insurance company so that I didn't have to spend my time on that side of things, even though I am the agent. He also worked with my contractor to coordinate the different pieces of the puzzle to get my home put back together as soon as possible. During the process, I became pretty sick and had to spend several days in bed. During that time, it was extremely reassuring to me to know that Anthony could come in and check things without me having to be up and present in the process. I also have a very curious and nosy cat and Anthony was careful to not let him out as he came in and out of my home and to make sure the area was sealed off well so that my cat could not get into the area where the drying fans were running. As an insurance agent, Anthony is who I recommend to my clients, even prior to using him myself, but having my own water loss solidified my decision that they are the only remediation company that I will recommend after having personally dealt with 2 other companies in my home who did not do the quality job that Anthony did for us. Thank you for helping make a bad situation as convenient and painless as possible!

We cannot recommend this company highly enough. Anthony and his team were there for us from the moment we called with our problem to the moment the contractors left us after repairs had been made. He patiently answered our questions (as dumb as they might be); responded promptly to calls and text messages, paid close attention to detail and provided invaluable advice as we navigated the insurance process. It's as though he has the ability to bring "big name" resources to address your remediation needs with the service and familiarity of a local business. Dealing with a damaged home is stressful enough, dealing with insurance can make it worse... Willard Restoration made it all so much better. Add this company to your contacts, they should be your first call in the event you need help with your home.

Most of the claims we help with start with water. Learn how our water damage restoration process works, from extraction to final repairs.

No. Most policies require you to take reasonable steps to prevent further damage. Take photos, call your insurance company to open the claim and call us to start mitigation. We document everything so the adjuster can see the original damage.
Yes. Your insurance company may suggest a preferred vendor, but you can choose the restoration company you want to work with.
Only your policy and your adjuster can answer that. In general, sudden and accidental damage such as a burst pipe or a fire is commonly covered, while flooding, long-term leaks and sewer backups often are not without specific coverage. We explain what we found, and your adjuster determines coverage.
Yes. We work with homeowners and commercial insurance carriers and their adjusters, and we provide the documentation they need regardless of carrier.
Approved work is paid through your claim, and you are responsible for your deductible and anything not covered. We go over the details with you before repairs begin.
Take wide shots of each affected room, close-ups of damaged materials and belongings, and the source of the damage if you can safely reach it. Do not throw anything away until it has been documented.
